The Kuala Lumpur Alice Smith School (KLASS) is fully accredited as a British School Overseas and has recently received an exceptional Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Accreditation and Compliance Report.

The candidate we are looking for
The English and Media Faculty is a thriving and successful one, offering excellent and innovative learning and teaching experiences for staff and students alike. (I)GCSEs and A Levels in English Language, Literature and Media Studies are offered and we also provide a comprehensive EAL programme when appropriate.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an undergraduate degree and a recognised teaching qualification with two years post-qualification teaching experience
- Be an experienced and outstanding teacher of English and Media Studies, with an excellent track record of teaching success at A Level in Media Studies and English Language, preferably with experience of the Adobe Suite
- Have experience of teaching the British curriculum and qualifications, especially (I)GCSE
- Have excellent written and spoken English
- Be committed to their own professional growth and to supporting that of their colleagues
- Be willing to go the extra mile for all students both academically and pastorally
- Have the experience and ability to teach in an online environment if and when circumstances dictate a need to do so.
