Head of Business Studies and Economics
We are seeking an outstanding, committed and energetic teacher to join and lead the department as a Head of Business Studies and Economics to start in August 2021. The candidate must be a team player and must have a passion to achieve high levels of learning.
We are looking for a reflective practitioner who has:
- Enhanced Disclosure/DBS/ACRO Police Check or equivalent, and who are committed to the welfare of all children
- A relevant degree, PGCE or B. ED or the equivalent.
- Successful experience of teaching in Secondary School up to A-level
- Confidence with the use of IT in teaching
- High expectations and aspirations for all students
- A commitment to the overall development of young people
- Experience in supporting subject-specific applications to Oxbridge/Ivy League is an advantage
Previous teaching experience in a high-performing international school is an advantage.
