Project Description

Luxoft has been working with a global OEM to provide the highest quality and progressive solutions to the Customer.

The project focuses on the further development of highly automated driving and autonomous vehicles. We are always at the cutting edge of Global Autonomous Driving solutions and we can draw our extensive experience with our partners in the era of highly automated driving.

The objective of the project is the development, validation and maintenance of specific software modules of the SIL (Software in the loop) platform and of the simulation pipeline, for testing of the control functionalities of ADAS L2 and L3.

Responsibilities

The activity is mainly aimed at implementing and maintaining specific orchestration pipelines of scenarios and simulation targets for the automatic execution of development test cases and validation of the control functions of L2 and L3 autonomous driving systems.

In addition, the adaptation and customization of simulation applications, developed by some project partners, is required to make them executable at OEM’s development, staging and production environments.

Finally, the necessary support is required from the DevOps service provider, which manages the production environment, for the deployment of developed applications and their adaptation to platform updates.

The activity could involve, if circumstances require it, also the development in Matlab / Simulink of the simulation models of the ADAS / AD sensors and the automatic generation of code to be integrated into the platform, as well as the development of the code of the related integration framework. in the SIL platform.

Skills

Must have

    • Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering / Automation / Computer Science or Mathematics / Physics degree

    • Experience in software development in Linux environment

    • Experience in pipeline development and orchestrators with Jenkins and Airflow

    • Knowledge of operating system virtualization (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)

    • Knowledge of C / C ++ / C # and Python programming languages

    • Knowledge of Test Driven Development and CI / CD processes

    • Knowledge of JSON file format

    • Knowledge of REST API interfaces

    • Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management platforms

    • Experience of working within an AGILE or Scrum framework

    • High level of problem solving

    • Ability to interface between the various stakeholders (Suppliers / partners)

    • Excellent knowledge of the English language

Nice to have

    • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)

    • Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink model development

    • Knowledge of ADAS / AD sensors, of their modelling, and of the relative welcome detection algorithms
